Wucherpfennig, Reinhold (20 April, 1895 – 12 Dec 1966)

Reinhold Wucherpfennig, 71, Loyal died ay 5:20 p.m. Monday, December 12 at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville. Cause of death was due to complications.

The body will lie in state at the Myre Funeral Home until the time of services. Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal with the Rev. A. M. Moldemhauer officiating on Thursday, December 15. Burial will be made in the Lutheran Cemetery. Graveside rites will be condicted by the American Legion Post 175.

Mr. Wucherpfennig was born in the town of Frankfurt, Marathon County, April 20, 1895. On November 17, 1932 he married the former Martha Hoefs at Zion Lutheran Church at Stratford.

He served in World War 1 in France and Germany. After their marriage they farmed in the Colby area, until 1953 when they moved iun the Loyal area. He was employed by the Clark County Highway Dept. for 11 years. He retired in 1958 because of ill health.

Mr. Wucherpfennig was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and American Legion Post 175.

Besides his wife he is survived by four daughters; Mrs. James (Lucille) Bauer and Mrs. Leslie (Lenore) Williams, both of Marshfield; Mrs. Henry (Lois) Aumann Jr., Loyal and Mrs. Victor (Carol) Sandley, Spencer; four sons; Marvin, Wisconsin Rapids; Walter and David both of Loyal; and Glen Marshfield. Twenty-four grandchildren and 1 sister, Mrs. Sam (Augusta) Yelke, Chicago, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by 3 grandchildren, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
