Wells, Will N. (1865? - 1951)

Will N. Wells, 86, a cousin of the late Mrs. W. J. Marsh, has been interred at Sparta. He died at Madison, where he was head of the Wells Printing Co. since 1922, having started in the printing business at Neillsville.

Mr. Wells spent his boyhood at Humbird and graduated from the school there. He learned the printing trade at Neillsville and then went to Black River Falls, where he published the Jackson County Journal. From Black River Falls he went to Sparta, where he published the Monroe County Democrat. Later he went to Madison.

Surviving are his three daughters, a son Rufus, a brother, R. Guy Wells, of Los Angeles, Cal.

Two sisters Dimple Wells and Mrs. Ed Freeman are deceased.
