Beckman, Judith M. “Judi” (5 December 1944 - 21 October 2013)

Judith M. “Judi” Beckman, age 68, of Mars, PA, died on Monday morning, October 21, 2013, at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars. Born in Marshfield, WI, on December 5, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mayme (Herman) Milligan. She was raised in the Thorp area.

She was the wife of Joel W. Beckman, who she married on July 2, 1966; mother of Craig R. Beckman of Arlington, VA, Tara L. Pfaeffle (Jamie) of Gibsonia and Heather L. Beckman (Mike Pieck of Manhattan, NY; grandmother of Autumn and Brooklyn Pfaeffle and Alexa and Kaia Pieck; sister of Fran Milligan (Judy) of Little Chute, WI; and aunt of Miranda Milligan Raivala and Mirissa Milligan.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Kilian Church in Mars, with Fr. Charles Bober, pastor, official ting. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum at Holy Savior Cemetery in Richland Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Specialty Care Center for Alzheimer Care, P.O. Box 928, Mars, PA 16046.
