Hillert, August Gottlieb (12 November 1885 - 8 April 1951)

August George Gottlieb Hillert, 65, died at his home in the Town of Grant on Sunday. Death was due to a heart attack.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at the Amerian Lutheran Church with the Rev. Leonard Domke officiating. Interment will be made in the parish cemetery. Funeral services are in charge of the Gilbertson Funeral Home.

Mr. Hillert was born on November 12, 1885, in the Town of Grant and had been a resident of that vicinity all his life. On April 6, 1916, he was married to Anna Mueller in the Town of Fremont.

He has been a member of the American Lutheran Church all his life.

He is survived by his wife, and three children - Martin on the home farm, Mrs. Ewald (Ida) Hinkelmann of Rockford, Ill., Miss Lydia Hillert of Marshfield, four grandchildren, and three sisters - Mrs. Amelia Roder of the Town of Grant, Miss Bertha Hillert of Granton and Mrs. Emma Zipfel of he Town of Grant.
