Pearson, Christine Alyce (Marriage - 17 July 1961)

Miss Christine Alyce Pearson, daughter of Mrs. Marie Pearson of Colby, and Arlyn John Schneider of Colby, Wisconsin were united in marriage at a candlelight ceremony at Zion Lutheran church, Monday evening, July 17, at 7:00 o’clock, Rev. Howard Timmerman officiating at the ceremony.

The bride was attired in a pink street dress with round neckline, a fitted bodice, embroidered cummerbund waist line with a full skirt, a pink hat with white accessories. Her corsage consisted of pink and feathered white carnations tied with a white satin ribbon.

Miss Gladys Schneider of Chicago, Ill., the maid of honor, wore a beige print street dress and beige hat with white accessories. Her corsage consisted of white carnations and feathered pink carnations tied with a pink satin ribbon.

The bride’s mother wore a print dress of pastel orchid, green and gold and her corsage consisted of a red rose surrounded by white feathered carnations.

The groom was attended by Gerald Schulz of Colby, Wis.

Lunch was served at the home of the bride’s mother and a reception and dance was held at Cherokee Hall. Guests were from Stratford, Thorp, Owen, Unity, Wausau, Abbotsford and Colby, Wis.

The couple will make their home in Eau Claire where the groom is employed and also attends Eau Claire State College.
