Miss Helen Bauer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Bauer of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of G. Laverne Dourte, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harley Dourte of Albuquerque, N.M., in a ceremony performed by Rev. A. M. Muckerheide at St. Bernard’s Rectory here at 10:00 o’clock Saturday morning, May 26th, 1951.

For her wedding the bride chose a gown of ice blue satin with flowered lace collar and full skirt of ballerina length. She wore a crown of white roses and lilies of the valley. The groom wore a grey suit.

Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bauer, brother and sister-in-law of the bride, the latter being attired ina light blue dotted swiss dress, ballerina length.

The bride’s mother wore a gold colored dress in lace trim with white accessories, and a corsage of white roses.

A reception was held after a ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents attended by relatives and close friends of the couple.

The newlyweds left on their honeymoon for Albuquerque, N.M., where they will reside at 537 S. Alvarado St. The groom is an electronic technician at Sandia Base in Albuquerque.

Preston, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Fritz of Deepheaven, Minn.; Mrs. Elfrieda and Richard McCarty of Brownsville, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Klink and family of Albuquerque, N.M.; Mrs. Christina Keller, Leonard Keller, Mrs. Richard Paulus and daughter Carol, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Olson, Miss Esther Johnson, Mrs. Marne Ward, Miss V. Vehlen Kamp, John Paulus of Eau Claire and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Flunker of Chippewa Falls.
