Leverty, Francis (1901 - 2 JAN 1949)

Final rites were conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4th from the Holy Rosary Church, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) for Francis Joseph Leverty by Rev. Raymond Bornbach.

Francis Joseph Leverty passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been hospitalized for the past three and one-half weeks, on Sunday, Jan. 2nd, 1949. Burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery.

Mr. Leverty had not resided in this community for many years but has many relatives here. He had made his home in Chicago where he was actively employed until stricken with a lingering illness several months ago.
