Binning, Herbert (6 June 1879 - 19 Feb. 1962)

Herbert Binning died at the age of 82 years Monday at 3:20 P.M. in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where he was admitted Dec. 29, 1961. Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon in the Methodist church in Unity, Rev. Ralph Koelemay officiating, and burial will be made in the town of Brighton cemetery.

Mr. Binning was born on June 6, 1879, in England. He came to the United States with his parents as a young boy and settled in the Fond du Lac area. He married the former Inga Lydiksen on September 30, 1904, in the town of Unity, Wis. They farmed in the Unity area until 1951 when he sold his farm to his son, Clifford, and moved to the village of Unity where he had lived since.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Duane (Merle) Fischer of Marshfield; five sons, Kenneth, Earl and Milford of Minneapolis, Minn., and Floyd and Clifford of Unity; 15 grand children; two great grand children; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Pyatt of Corvallis, Ore., and Mrs. Alice Schultz of Milwaukee; two brothers, Dr. R. E. Binning of Fond du Lac and Henry Binning of Unity, Wis. Two brothers preceded him in death.
