Schrader, Wilhelmine (13 July 1878 - 5 Sept. 1941)

Mrs. Oscar Schrader, 63, died at 11:30 o’clock Friday night at her home in the Town of Mayville, the result of a stroke.

Funeral rites were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the home and at 2 o’clock at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Dorchester, Wis. The Rev. John Brandt had charge of the service, and internment was made in Memorial cemetery.

The pall bearers were five grandsons of the deceased: Jerry Schwaztrauber, Oscar Schroeder, Bert and Harold Shanklin, August Hemling and one nephew, Donald Ploekelman.

The flower girls were also relatives: the Misses Dorothy Schroeder, Norma Blazel, Persella Shanklin, Marion Hanson, Ruth Skoog and Winnifred Martens.

Mrs. Schrader, nee Wilhelmine Lueddecke, was born July 13, 1878, in Germany and was married in the Town of Mayville, Nov. 27, 1898. She came to America from Germany when she was four years old.

Surviving besides her husband are seven children, Otto Schrader, Park Falls; Arthur Schrader, Medford; Arnold Schrader, at home; Mrs. William (Hilda) Ross, Germantown; Mrs. Otto (Odelia) Hemling, Dalton; Mrs. Charles (Lydia) Shankin, Amherst; and Mrs. Earl (Anna) Schwarztrauber, Ladysmith; two brothers, Louis and William Lueddecke, Town of Holton; four sisters, Mrs. Rudolph Blazel, Stetsonville; Mrs. Max Schafer, Town of Holton; Mrs. Bruno Muehler, Town of Holton; and Mrs. Ole Hansen, Park Falls; her mother, Mrs. William Lueddecke, Sr., Town of Holton; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Two children preceded her in death.
