Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Quimby and little daughter Betty Jane visited at the Herman Kalkofen home Sunday.

Mary Scherer spent Sunday with her friend Imogene Stabnow at Greenwood.

Miss Irene Demuth closed a successful term of school at Cadott and returned to her home here Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Kline were callers at Geo. Scherer's Sunday.

The Mothers Club met at the schoolhouse Friday. A good crowd attended.

The Misses Irene and Evelyn Demuth called on Miss Christina Kalkofen Sunday.

The Arithmetic, Spelling and Penmanship contest, which was held at the Eaton School for the town of Eaton, was won by Eaton Center, Ralph Kocher, Bethel Lenz and James McConnell being the winners.

Mr. Dillon and Mrs. Anderson and families have moved onto the C.A. Jorenby farm, which they will run the coming year.

Mr. and Mrs. Gene McNamara and family have moved onto the Butler farm.

Mrs. O.L. Carteron and sons called at Geo. Scherer's Friday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Scherer transacted business at Willard on Monday.

Quite a number from here attended the show at Greenwood Friday night.

Mr. N.W. Scherer, the McNess man, was a caller in our vicinity Thursday.

Mr. Kalkofen and children motored to Loyal Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Scherer and daughters and Eva Kalkofen spent Monday evening at the Jul. Voigt home.

Wesley Schwarze, Elton Dillon, Ernest Christie and Francis Scherer were out joy riding Monday evening.

Mrs. Douglas Ormond of Globe attended the Aid at the home of her mother, Mrs. Zimmerman, Thursday.
