Hemlock

A. S. Armstrong and Chas. Limprecht made a flying trip to La Crosse the first of the week.

Mrs. Fred Limprecht of this place owns a cow who has given birth to four calves in less that a year.

G. B. Andrews, wife and little Clella were Sunday guests at D. Warner's.

Miss Mabel Moore, who has been suffering from appendicitis for several months went to Sacred Heart, Hospital at Eau Claire last week where she was operated upon. Her condition, though very serious for a time, at last reports was considered favorable.

Wednesday of last week, Mrs. C. W. Dewey had the misfortune to fall and strike her side against the edge of a tub, slightly fracturing a rib. Dr. Conroy was called and bandaged the injured side. The accident though painful is not dangerous.

M. Memhard and F. W. Anderson apparently do not like Greenwood water, as they came up last Sunday and indulged in a huge drink of Black River water. We would suggest to the gentlemen that they wait a few weeks before they go bathing in the pond again as the water will be warmer and more pleasant. We would suggest they exchange their ordinary wearing apparel for bathing suits. It would be more convenient on leaving the water.
