Clark, Nettie (19 Mar. 1863 - 20 Mar. 1945)

Funeral services for Miss Nettie Clark, 82 years old, who died at her home Tuesday, will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Zink Funeral home, where the body is lying in state. The Rev. G. E. Griffiths will officiate and burial will be made in the Abbotsford cemetery.

Miss Clark was born in Aurorahville, March 19, 1863. As a young woman, she came to this vicinity and taught schools in the towns of Hull and Holton in Marathon county. She also taught at Butternut. After retiring, about 30 years ago, she made her home in Abbotsford, Wis.

Miss Clark has been ill the past two years with bronchial asthma and that, together with complications of age, caused her death at 5:40 Tuesday afternoon.

She was a member of the Presbyterian church and the Maccabees.

Miss Clark leaves an only sister, Miss Mary Clark, of Wauwatosa. Her sister, Mrs. C. L. Ingersoll, of Abbotsford, preceded her in death, Sept. 21, 1941. She also leaves one niece, Mrs. Stanley Smith (Ruth Ingersoll) Wausau, and four nephews, Don and Kenneth Ingersoll, Abbotsford; Robin Ingersoll, Marshfield; and Carol of Pennsylvania.

Funeral services for Miss Nettie Clark, 82 years old, who died at her home, March 20, were held Saturday afternoon at the Zink Funeral home. The Rev. G. E. Griffith officiated at the rites at 2:00 o’clock, after which internment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery.

Pallbearers were Martin Anderson, George Brown, George Greaser, Walter Jackson, J. G. Moore, and Harry Treat.

Relatives from away who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Bert Ingersoll, New London; Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Ingersoll, Marshfield; Mrs. Stanley Smith, Wausau; Mrs. Minnie Waterman and Mrs. Sullivan, Stevens Point; Pvt. Don Ingersoll, Battle Creek, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. Clark Ingersoll, New London, and Miss Jeanette Ingersoll, Marshfield.
