Mr. and Mrs. William Engelking, of St. Paul, spent the week end here.

Miss Minnie Schueler left Saturday for Oshkosh where she will attend summer session at the teachers’ college. Her sister, Frieda, accompanied her.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Woempner, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Benzman and son, Arlo, of Milan, Mr. and Mrs. Joel Skoog and son, Vaughn, of Prentice, and Mr. and Mrs. John Daellenbach attended the graduation exercises at the Taylor County Normal school at Medford, on Thursday evening. After the program they all came to the Woempner home where refreshments were served in honor of Miss Alice Woempner and Miss Rose Daellenbach, who were in the graduating class. Miss Woempner will teach the Park school in the town of Hoard and Miss Rose Daellenbach will teach the Clovernook school, west of Abbotsford, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Schumaker, of Milwaukee, arrived Saturday night and visited until Sunday noon with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Fecker.

Vern Hemphill and son, Bill, left Saturday morning for Bear River, Minn., on a business trip and returned Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Schraufnagel and son, Noel, left Sunday morning to spend a few days at Glidden.
