Kutchera, Flora M. #2 (6 MAY 1875 - 3 MAY 1907)

Mrs. John Kutchera died at her home near Trempealeau last Friday. Funeral services were held at the residence Sunday afternoon, and the remains brought here for interment. Services were held in the afternoon at the Methodist Church, the sermon being given by Rev. Burrows.

Mrs. Kutchera was born Flora M. McVay in Richland County on May 6, 1875. In 1896 she was united in marriage to John Kutchera at Muscoda and the foundation of a happy home was laid. In 1900 Mr. and Mrs. Kutchera moved to Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. Kutchera engaged in the livery business. In March 1906, however, they moved to their large farm near Trempealeau.

During her residence in this city Mrs. Kutchera demonstrated her womanly qualities in many ways, and her pleasing characteristics won her many friends. She was not a member of any church, but her parents were Methodists and she was reared in the atmosphere of truth and goodness that made its imprint on her future life. She was a splendid woman, and all who knew her join with her husband and little son and daughter in mourning for the excellent wife and mother. She is also survived by five brothers and four sister, one of whom, Mrs. Jerome Shaw, resides in Neillsville.
