Ebert, Inez (Marriage - 19 Oct. 1946)

Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Koffarnus are now at home to friends at 202 Grand avenue, Wausau, where Mr. Koffarnus is attending mechanical school.

Their marriage took place Oct. 19 at the parsonage of Zion Evangelical Lutheran church at Colby, with the Rev. Otto Hoffmann officiating.

For her wedding, the bride, the former Inez Ebert, of Wausau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Ebert, of Colby, wore a blue-gray wool suit, with cherry rose and brown accessories for accent. Pinned to her shoulder was a corsage of red roses, white carnations and pompons. Her jewelry consisted of a bracelet and ring, which her mother had worn on her wedding day.

Miss Lois Stock, of Wausau, and Robert Ebert, of Stevens Point, attended the couple.

Miss Stock was attired in a navy blue taillieur, with gray and navy accessories, and had a corsage of pink rosebuds and pink and white carnations. The earrings she wore were a gift of the bride.

Both mothers were dressed in black and wore mixed shoulder bouquets.

The wedding dinner for the immediate relatives was served at the Old Hiedelberg Club in Medford, and was followed by a reception at the Ebert home in Colby, Wis. That evening a dance was given in honor of the couple at Walter’s pavilion at Colby, Wis.

Mr. Koffarnus, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Koffarnus, of Abbotsford, was employed as a truck driver for the White House Milk company before entering the service, and lived here with his sister, Mrs. Alfred Karsten.
