Deming, Augusta #2 (1 SEP 1853 - 28 APR 1908)

Last Tuesday morning Mrs. Augusta Deming passed away at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital, where she had been taken for an operation. The remains were brought home Tuesday afternoon and interment will be made this afternoon. Services will be held at the home of Geo. Lloyd.

Augusta Inez Marshall was born in Sheboygan County, Wis., Sept. 1, 1852, and there received an excellent education and training. She came to Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.) to take a position in the city schools, and here she met Henry Deming. In 1880 she was united in marriage to Mr. Deming. Two children were born to them, one of whom is deceased. In 1889 the death of Mr. Deming terminated a happy union, leaving Mrs. Deming and daughter, Helen, to mourn his death. And now the death of the mother leaves the daughter without the guiding hand which has watched over and cared for her with all the maternal solicitude that can be embodied in the bosom of a good and true woman. Mrs. Deming was indeed a good woman and her entire life has been personification of kindness, charity and Christian motherhood. Two sisters, Mrs. Geo. Lloyd of this city and Mrs. Geo Miller of Waupaca are also left to mourn her demise.
