Esselman, Amelia #2 (10 NOV 1908)

Tuesday morning at St. Mary’s Church, Father Dorrenbach officiating, occurred the marriage of George A. Claridge and Miss Amelia Esselman. Miss Gust Esselman attended the bride and Louis Esselman attended the groom. The happy couple went to Minneapolis and from there will return to Reedsburg, where they will be at home to their friends after Dec. 10th.

Mr. Claridge is assistant postmaster at Reedsburg. He has visited in Neillsville several times and has impressed those with whom he became acquainted, with his very evident uprightness and exceptional capability. His bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. Esselman of near Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.). She has worked at her profession in Neillsville for several years and is one of the most popular young ladies in this city. For several years she has been the stenographer in S. M. Marsh’s law office, and also held a like position in the last session of the legislature. She is a very capable young lady, has many prepossessing traits of character, and has won many friends by her genial and winsome disposition. The Times extends its most cordial congratulations.
