Phillips, Billy T. (1923? - May 1947)
Curtiss, Wis. - Lt. Billy T. Phillips, 24, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert E. Phillips, was killed in an airplane crash at a Denver, Colorado air field, according to word received by his parents.
The body will be brought to Curtiss where funeral services will be held in the Congregational church at 2:00 o’clock, Friday afternoon.
Lt. Phillips received his wings as a Navy aviator Oct. 19, 1943, and was then transferred to Pensacola, Florida, from Atlanta, Ga. At the Florida base he was an instrument instructor.
