Piccolo, Edith Johnson (14 APR 1952)

Mr. and Mrs. George Johnson, Monongahela, Pa. announce the marriage of their daughter Edith Johnson Piccolo to Sgt. Edward T. Burzynski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Burzynski, Route 2, Thorp (Clark Co.), Wis., on April 14th, 1952.

The quiet double ring ceremony was performed by the Reverend Ward R. Smith in the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in the presence of the family and a few close friends. Mrs. Pauline Wadsworth, sister of the bride, and Mr. Charles Wadsworth, brother-in-law of the bride, being the only attendants.

A small reception was held in the home of the bride’s parents at 400 Sarah St. for the bridal party and a few friends. The young couple left immediately after the reception for a wedding trip through Pennsylvania.

The bride is employed by Gambels Department Store in Pittsburgh, Pa; the groom, now stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky. Sgt. and Mrs. Burzynski plan to reside in Monongahela when Sgt. Burzynski’s present tour of duty completes in June of this year.
