Postmaster Ely Williams is on the sick list and John Wright has taken charge of the post-office during his illness.
M. E. Link, the depot agent has been transferred back to Chili and a Mr. Burk has his place here.
Miss Amelia Gerlack gave a picnic in her father's grove on May 27. All present report a fine time.
P. J. Kemmeter is enlarging his store building. Fritz Gerber and crew are dong the work.
Misses Nellie and Pearl Hallock are visiting under the parental roof.
The eclipse was quite plainly observed last Monday.
Hot and dusty.
