Counsell, Marion (22 AUG 1945)

On Wednesday, Aug. 22, Miss Marion Counsell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarion Counsell of Neillsville, became the bride of Victor Pagenkopf, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Pagenkopf, also of Neillsville. The wedding took place at 3:30 p.m. in St. John’s Lutheran church at Auburndale with the Rev. S. E. Rathke performing the double ring ceremony.

The bride wore an aqua dressmaker suit, with dark brown accessories and a corsage of orchids. She was attended by Helen Pagenkopf, sister of the groom, who wore a tan dressmaker suit, with a corsage of talisman roses. Mr. Pagenkopf was attended by Donald Anderson.

"I Love You Truly" was sung by Mrs. Roger Connor of Auburndale, a close friend of the bride. She was accompanied by Mrs. Rathke.

The couple enjoyed a wedding trip to the eastern part of the state. Miss Counsell has, for the past three years, taught the primary grades in the Loyal public school.

The Loyal Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
