Kalepp, Hermann Otto (5 Mar. 1868 - 17 Aug. 1947)

Funeral services were held this afternoon at Dorchester for Hermann O. Kalepp, 79, a former Dorchester resident, who died Sunday at Ellsworth, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Arthur Cook, with whom he had been residing the past 20 years.

The body was lying in state at the Swarthout Funeral Home at Spencer until 11:00 a.m. today when it was taken to St. Peter’s Lutheran church to lie in state there until the time of the 1:30 o’clock services. The Rev. F. A. Sprengler officiated and internment was made in the Dorchester cemetery.

Hermann Otto Kalepp was born in Germany, March 5, 1868, and was married at Dorchester July 7, 1895, to Hedwig Emma Schroeder, who survives.

Mr. Kalepp was a brother of Adolph Kalepp, of Abbotsford, Wis.
