Maxam, Miss (Marriage - 18 Oct. 1947)

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wozniak will be at home to friends after Oct. 27 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their marriage took place at St. Bernard’s Catholic church, Saturday morning, Oct. 18.

The Rev. Francis Brockman read the service before a nuptial high mass at 9:00 o’clock.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Maxam, Stetsonville, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Wozniak, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a gown of white slipper satin with lace inserts and lace yoke. Her blusher and finger tip veil were also edged in orange blossom lace. She wore a pearl earrings and her mother’s pearl necklace. She carried a large bouquet of white chrysanthemums.

Miss Leona Sackmann, Milwaukee, was the bride’s only attendant. She wore a pink hand embroidered formal made with a sweet heart neckline, at which she wore a single strand of pearls. She carried a bouquet of yellow and white baby chrysanthemums.

Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents to 26 guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Wozniak left for a week’s honeymoon to northern Wisconsin.
