Untiedt, Marian (Marriage - 13 Oct. 1947)
Minneapolis is the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Vergenz who were married Oct. 13 in a simple ceremony in the chapel of the Central Lutheran church there.
The Rev. Mr. Iverson read the marriage service for the former Miss Marian Untiedt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Untiedt, Dorchester, and Mr. Vergenz, Watertown.
The bride chose a tailored gray wool suit and black accessories for her wedding costume. Her corsage was of pink roses.
Miss Janice Olson, Minneapolis, as maid of honor, was attired in a semi tailored blue suit and beige accessories. A corsage of yellow roses was pinned to her shoulder.
Dale Gustavson, Minneapolis, served as best man.
The bride is a graduate of the Abbotsford high school, and St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing, Marshfield. For the past three years she has been on the nurse’s staff of Wisconsin General hospital, Madison. The groom is a graduate of the Watertown high school and is employed in Minneapolis.
