Zdun, John (22 Dec 1886 - Jan 1952)

 

John Zdun, who operated a farm in the Washburn community for 20 years, will be buried this (Thursday) afternoon from the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton, with the Rev. Virgil Nulton of Neillsville officiating.

 

Mr. Zdun died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Chester (Maymie) Czerniak, at Chicago. The body was brought to Granton for services. Burial will be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

Survivors include his daughter; six sons, Casimir of Prosper, Minn.; Joe, Emil and John, Jr. of Pittsville; Ernest of Marshfield, and Edward of Wisconsin Rapids.

 

His wife preceded him in death on June 24, 1947 (death: 16 June 1913; burial: 18 June 1913 Justice, Cook, Illinois, United States), as did one child and a brother.

 

Other survivors include two brothers, Tom and Frank of Detroit, Mich., and six grandchildren.
