Schmidt, Louise (25 Mar. 1881 - 20 Oct. 1948)

 

The Rev. Heutzenroeder, of Athens, officiated at the funeral services for Mrs. Charles F. Schmidt, 67 years old, who died enroute to Memorial hospital, Wausau, at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20. The services were held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the First Evangelical and Reformed church at Colby, Wis.

 

During the rites, Miss Alma Tesmer, accompanied by Mrs. Franz Puhlman, sang "Rock of Ages," and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere."

 

Internment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.

 

The pallbearers were: John Schreiber, Paul Benzmann, Martin Ellingson, Ferdinand Huhn, Arthur E. Bialkowsky and William Gaiser.

 

The flowers were carried by six nieces of the deceased: Mrs. Chester Schmidt, Mrs. Bert Elberts, Mrs. Arnold Ruprich, Mrs. D. H. Zillman, Mrs. Eugene Blair, and Mrs. Gaylord Pipcorn.

Zillman, Baldwin; Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Ruprich, Albert Leichtnam, Dorchester; Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Blair, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Alphonse Herrmann, Curtiss; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stremer, Athens; Mr. and Mrs. George Blank, Mrs. Amelia Harry, Mrs. Angie Buchholtz, Herman Brunner, Wausau; and Mr. and Mrs. A.
