Notbohm, Caroline (18 Aug. 1879 - 1 Apr. 1949)

Mrs. Caroline Totten Notbohm, 70 years old, died Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Orson Adams, at Hancock, following an illness of 24 years. She had been an invalid the past 13 months.

Mrs. Notbohm was born Aug. 18, 1879 at Alvinston, Ontario, Canada. On Nov. 29, 1901, she was married to Albert Notbohm at Chicago. The family lived at Delafield and at Abbotsford until seven years ago when Mrs. Notbohm moved to Hancock, where she made her home with her daughter.

Surviving are one son, Elmer, of Janesville; the daughter, Irene, two grand children, Nancy and Rex Notbohm; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Shaver, Mrs. Arlia Hilborn, Miss Martha Totten, Detroit, Mich.; and Mrs. Isabelle Aimes, Hollywood, Calif.; and three brothers, Will, Ed and Isau Totten, of Alvinston, Ontario.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Hamilton Funeral Home, Hancock, and internment was made in the Hancock cemetery.

Pallbearers were Wilbur Kuehnast, Abbotsford; R. C. Ingersoll, Marshfield; Lyall Adams, Fond du Lac; Orin Perry, C. L. Booth and Swege Baum, Hancock.

Among those from Abbotsford who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Kuehnast.
