Wagner, Gladys (20 December 1906 - 1952)

Funeral services were conducted at 2 o’clock Monday from the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton, for Miss Gladys Wagner, who died in an automobile accident at Key West, Fla., where she was employed. Interment was made in the Town of Lynn Cemetery. The Rev. Virgil Nulton officiated.

Gladys was born to Mr. and Mrs. William Wagner in the Town of Lynn on December 20, 1906. She received her education in the elementary school near home and attended Granton High School for two years, then transferred to Neillsville High School, where she was graduated with the class of 1925.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Wagner of Fremont, a sister, Mrs. Arthur (Ethel) Manthey of Waunakee, and two brothers, Roland of Madison, and George of the Town of Lynn.

Pallbearers were: George Schmitz, Curtiss Cattanach, Alan Reisner, Harry Portz, David Gallagher and Davis Grottke. Floral offerings were in charge of the wives of the pallbearers. Mrs. William Schmidtke and Mrs. Ora Beeckler sang three selections, accompanied by Miss Ruth Pietenpohl.
