Lieders, Elizabeth (14 Jan. 1868 - 8 Oct. 1949)

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Lieders, 81, whose death occurred Saturday at 7:45 a.m. at her home, were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Presbyterian church. The Rev. G. E. Griffith, now of Chetek, officiated at the rites, during which Mrs. Walter Baehr, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. F. B. Wing, sang, "Abide With Me," and "Good Night, Good Morning."

Internment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery. The pallbearers were Leo Banditt, Charles Boyer, William Bogaard, Walter Fults, Homer Kennedy and Joe Spencer.

The ladies who carried the flowers were Mmes. William Garbrecht, L. J. Gibson, Charles Hoffman, John Hutt, Jake Nikolay, Lawrence Neitzel, and Jack Weideman.

Elizabeth Shemborn was born Jan. 14, 1868, at Stony Lake, Minn. She attended Dorchester schools and was married to Andrew Lieders at Dorchester, Jan. 5, 1886. In 1912 they moved to Abbotsford where Mr. Lieders died 11 years ago.

Surviving are six children, Mrs. Ed (Delia) Scheibe, and Harry, Arthur, and Orville Lieders, all of Abbotsford; Arnold Lieders, Shady Cove, Oregon; and Mrs. A. E. (Rita) Malmrose, St. Paul, Minn.

A sister, Mrs. Mary Heermann, lives at Sheboygan, and there are six grand children and two great grand children. Two sisters, Mrs. Anna McMillan and Mrs. Agnes Cottingham, are dead.

Among those from away who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Malmrose and daughter, Beverly, Mr. and Mrs. William Engelking, St. Paul; Mrs. Harold Correll and daughter, Kathleen, Mound, Minn,; Mrs. C. C. Curran, Phillips, Mrs. H. B. Rayn and Jean Rayn, Duluth, Minn.
