Fierke, Elizabeth Ann (Marriage - 6 Feb. 1950)

Miss Elizabeth Ann Fierke, Dorchester, became the bride of Charles M. Loucks, Abbotsford, in a ceremony performed at 2:00 p.m. Monday afternoon in the parsonage of St. Peter’s Lutheran church, Dorchester, with the Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Fierke, Dorchester, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Loucks, Abbotsford, Wis.

For the occasion, the bride wore a gray suit with pink and black accessories. Her corsage consisted of a purple orchid.

Mrs. Carl Nelsen, Lafeyette, Indiana, sister of the groom, served as the matron of honor. She wore a teal blue suit with brown accessories, and a corsage of red and white roses completed her ensemble. Her husband, Carl Nelsen, served as best man.

The bride’s mother wore a black flowered crepe dress with a corsage of pink and white carnations while the groom’s mother wore a black dress. Her corsage was similar to Mrs. Fierke’s.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents for the immediate families.

The bride is a graduate of the Dorchester high school and the groom is a graduate of the Abbotsford high school. He also attended the University of Wisconsin for one year.

The couple will reside at the home of the groom’s parents.

Out of town guests at the wedding included Mr. and Mrs. Carl Nelsen, Lafayette, Indiana.
