Anderson, Marie (8 July 1950)

Miss Marie Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Anderson, and James P. Wilde, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Wilde, Sr., were united in marriage on Saturday afternoon at Abbotsford, with Justice R. H. Treat officiating.

The couple were attended Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Mueller, of Colby, Wis.

The bride wore a blue suit with white accessories, accented with a corsage of white roses surrounded by red rosebuds and white carnations.

The matron of honor wore a black and white pin checked suit with white accessories and had a corsage of red roses surrounded by white carnations.

Both the mothers of the bride and groom wore navy blue dresses accented with corsages of pink and white carnations.

Supper was served the immediate families at the home of the bride’s parents, and a reception was held in the evening in the club house of the Eau Pleine Rifle Club.

The bride is employed at the Colby Phonograph office and the groom is employed by his father in the painting and decorating business. After a short wedding trip, they will reside at the home of the bride’s parents.

Guests attended from Milwaukee, Loyal, Abbotsford, Medford, Stetsonville, and Marshfield.
