Farning, Anna #2 (1866 - 28 DEC 1908)
Monday morning Mrs. Anna Farning died after an illness of a few days at her home on 7th Street. Anna Tobin was born in Monroe County 42 years ago. She was united in marriage to Frank Farning fourteen years ago at Monroe and shortly after they came to Clark County to make their home, residing on the old Farning farm. Nine years ago they moved to Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.). Four children were born to them, two of them surviving their mother and father. Mrs. Farning died seven years ago. One brother, James Tobin of Monroe also survives the deceased.
Mrs. Farning was a woman of Christian character, industrious and conscientious. The funeral was held Wednesday morning at St. Mary’s Church. James Tobin was in attendance at the funeral.
