  Anderegg, Viola #2 (8 DEC 1945)

The Trinity Lutheran church here was the scene of a wedding at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 8, when Miss Viola Anderegg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Anderegg of route two, became the bride of Delmar Bartsch of Granton, son of Carl Bartsch of Marshfield. The Rev. J. C. Langholz performed the double-ring ceremony. Miss Evelyn Bartsch of Chili, a sister of the groom sang "I Love You Truly," accompanied by Mrs. Marvin Seeman.

Karen Shober, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Shober, in a petal-pink taffeta frock and matching blusher veil, carried a colonial bouquet and served as flower girl. Gordon Zickert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Zickert of Neillsville, ring bearer, carried the wedding rings on a white pillow.

The bride chose a white lace and net gown foe her wedding, styled with a basque bodice and full gathered skirt. Her fingertip veil of illusion was edged with lace and caught to a beaded headdress. For jewelry, she also wore a heart shaped gold locket, a gift of the groom, and carried white and petunia-pink carnations.

Mrs. Caroline Morrow of Colby, a cousin of the bride, in a pink lace and ninon frock and carrying pink mums, was matron of honor, while Miss Evelyn Peterson of Wausau, the bridesmaid, wore a blue taffeta and net dress and carried yellow mums.

Marlyn Bartsch of Wausau, a brother of the groom, was best man, and Ervin Anderegg, brother if the bride, was groomsman.

Following the ceremony, 75 guests were entertained at supper. Pink, blue and white streamers decorated the home. A wedding dance was held at Granton in the evening.

The bride was graduated from the Loyal high school with the class of 1941, and the groom attended the Granton high school. They are residing on the farm of the bride’s parents, near Loyal, Which Mr. Bartsch helps to operate.

Guests from away included Mr. and Mrs. William Seidelmann of Owen and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Seidelmann of New London.

The Loyal Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
