Randorf, Matt (4 May 1870 - 2 May 1952)

 

Matt Randorf*, 81, died at the St. Joseph’s Hospital Saturday where he had been a patient the past two months.

 

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church at Loyal with Rev. Norbert King officiating.  Burial took place in the parish cemetery.

 

Mr. Randorf was born May 4, 1870, in Monroe County, where he also received his education.  In 1896 he was married to Christine Bous, shortly afterwards moving to the Town of York where they were engaged in farming for 35 years.  Their old home is now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Walter Siebold.

 

Their children attended the Lincoln school.  They later moved to Loyal where they resided for some time.

 

He is survived by his wife; four sons, William of Marshfield, Frank of Hoven, S. D., Joseph and Alfred of Greenwood; a daughter, Mrs. Nora Buffington of Marshfield.

 

A daughter, Marie, preceded him in death.
