Denning, Brian Frank (17 September 1969 –14 June 2009) With Flag

 

Brian F. Denning, age 39, of Thorp, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at his home.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2009, at Thorp Funeral Home in Thorp, with burial to follow in St. Hedwig’s Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the Thorp Funeral Home on Saturday, June 20, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service..

 

The Thorp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Brian F. Denning, age 39, of Thorp, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2009, at his home.

 

Funeral services were held on June 20, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at the Thorp Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Apfelbeck officiating.  Inurnment followed in Old St. Hedwig’s Catholic Cemetery with military rites conducted by Thorp American Legion Post 118.  Visitation was held on Saturday, June 20, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

 

Brian Frank Denning was born on September 17, 1969, in Berwyn, IL to Charles and Mary (Pietrzak) Denning.  He was raised in Illinois and attended Jacobs High School in Lake in the Hills, IL.  After high school, Brian worked construction jobs before moving to Florida. He spent the next eight years working as a laborer for a roofing company.  Brian moved to Thorp in 2003.  He enlisted in the Wisconsin Army National Guard in the fall of 2008.  In his spare time, Brian enjoyed fishing and playing the guitar.

 

Brian is survived by his mother, Mary Denning, of Thorp; two brothers: Dave Denning (Denise Heinol) of Elk Gove Village, IL, and Kurt (Elizabeth) Denning of Las Vegas, NV; one sister, Jennifer Denning, of Harwood Heights, IL; nieces, nephews, and friends.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Denning, on August 11, 2005.
