Kotowski, Donald Emil "Gator" (22 December 1948 - 5 July 2009)

 

Donald E. "Gator" Kotowski, age 60, of Lublin, died on Sunday, July 5, 2009, in the Town of Mead, rural Clark county.

 

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin. Fr. Gerard Willger officiated and burial followed in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery. Visitation was held at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.

 

Donald Emil Kotowski was born on December 22, 1948, in Stanley, WI to Emil S. and Stella (Yaron) Kotowski.  He received his elementary education in Lublin and graduated from Gilman High School in 1967.  He then attended the Taylor County Teachers College in Medford for two years and then taught school one year in Greenwood.  Don then drove school bus for the Gilman School District until 2007. He had many interests, but especially enjoyed being with family on holidays, barbequing with friends, playing softball, hunting and fishing.

 

He is survived by one sister, Lorraine (James) Olson of Cornell; two nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents.
