Mr. and Mrs. Aurele Larocque moved, over the week end, from the Johnston building, north of the Treat Insurance office, to the Carlson house, south of Arvid Carlson’s farm home. 
 

Miss Florence Dietsche accompanied by her niece, Miss Terry Kostka, of Stevens Point, spent the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dietsche. 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Leo Bumann and family were Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Kennedy, and family of Wausau. 
 

Mrs. Lowell Dorn and Mrs. E. C. Pascoe received the prizes at the meeting of the Abbotsford Woman’s Club, held Friday, in the library. Mrs. Ole Hanson and Mrs. Al Nelson were hostesses. 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Anton Gengler and Mr. and Mrs. William Bogaard attended a card party at Whittelsey, Sunday afternoon. 
 

Mrs. J. R. Spencer was admitted to Memorial hospital, Wausau, Monday, and underwent nose surgery Tuesday morning. 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Juneau and family spent Saturday at Eau Claire. 
 

Louis Janda, accompanied by a classmate, Christopher Cafey, of Elmhurst, Ill., came from Milwaukee, Friday night and spent the week end at the Janda home. They were Saturday night supper guests at the George Vetter home. 
 

Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Younker, were her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Stange, and family, of Wausau. 
 

The birthday anniversaries of Mrs. Stella Brady and Miss Jessie Merrill were celebrated Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Brady. A group of friends spent the afternoon together and a pot luck supper was served. 
 

Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Treat spent Sunday at Merrill at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Ted Broeren.
