Gust, Bernadine J. (Marriage - 5 Nov. 1955)

The Rev. P. Sauer performed the 4:00 o’clock ceremony in the chapel of St. John’s Lutheran church, West Bend, Saturday, Nov. 5, during which vows were exchanged by Bernadine J. Gust, West Bend, and Charles Faul, Jr., also of West Bend. A 5:30 o’clock supper and reception at the Barton Opera House followed.

Mrs. Faul is a daughter of Mrs. Erna M. Gust. A graduate of Abbotsford high school, she is employed as a secretary at the West Bend Aluminum Company. Her husband is a son of the Charles Fauls of Adell and is employed as a truck driver for the Aluminum company. They will reside at 610 South Fourth Avenue, West Bend, following their return from a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin.

White accessories accented the bride’s gray suit. A corsage of white orchids was pinned to her shoulder. Miss Barbara Faul, sister of the bridegroom, attended as maid of honor in an avocado green suit with accessories to match, and a corsage of yellow roses and bronze pompons. The bridesmaid, Mrs. Norman Ostrange, friend of the couple, wore beige accessories with her brown suit and a corsage like that of the honor attendant.

For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Gust wore an aqua dress with cinnamon accessories. Mrs. Faul wore aqua blue with matching accessories. Both mothers had pompon and rose corsages.

Mrs. Elmer Schwoch, sister of the bride, sang "The Lord’s Prayer" during the ceremony.

Richard Gust, brother of the bride, attended as best man while Norman Ostrange, a friend, served as groomsman.
