Revolinski, Stephanie (29 January 1918 - 28 September 2009)

 

Stephanie Revolinski, age 91, of Thorp passed away on Monday, September 28, 2009 at Our Lady of Victory Hospital in Stanley.

 
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Polish National Catholic Church in Lublin with Rev. Marion Talaga officiating.  Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Thorp Funeral Home in Thorp.  Visitation will also be held on Thursday, October 1, 2009 from 9:30 a.m. until 20:30 a.m. at the church.

 

Stephanie Pecka was born on January 29, 1918 in rural Lublin, WI to Andrew and Theresa (Grabos) Pecka and received her education at area schools.  After caring for her parents for a number of years, Stephanie moved to Chicago, IL where she worked at Williams Electric. She was united in marriage to Edward Revolinski, who later passed away at a young age.  After her retirement, Stephanie moved back to the city of Thorp, WI where she resided with her beloved son, Jerry.  After Jerry’s death in 2001, Stephanie continued to live by herself until entering Oakbrook health & Rehab where she resided until her death.

 

]In Stephanie’s spare time, she enjoyed flowers and gardening.

 

She was a member of St. Mary’s Polish National Catholic Church in Lublin and its Ladies Aide.

 
Stephanie is survived by many nieces and nephews, and her very special friend, Ardis Schmidt of Thorp.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward, her son Jerry; three brothers: Joseph Pecka, Frank Pecka, and Louie Pecka; and two sisters: Pauline Flammang and Marie Mamayek.
