Junkman, Clara (2 December 1891 - 7 August 1952)

Clara Heyder Junkman died at the city hospital in River Falls, Wis., on Thursday, August 7, 1952.  She was ill only a few days. The cause of her death was coronary thrombosis.

The former Clara Heyder was born in Neillsville December 2, 1891, the daughter of Paul and Mary Heyder.  She lived part of her life with her parents on a farm in the Town of York.  After her father’s death, the family moved to Neillsville, where Clara worked as a nurse for Dr. Bachman several years.  Later she worked at Sniteman’s Drug Store.

Because of her mother’s death in 1923, she moved to River Falls to make her home with her sister, Mrs. Frank L. Anderson.  Until her marriage to Ray W. Junkman she worked at the Farmers and Merchants State Bank at River Falls.
