Of Local Interest 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Bitter left Saturday evening for Madison and visited at the Herbert Pacholke home. They returned Sunday. 
 

Mrs. Tony Glisch, Gilman, was a Sunday night guest at the Walter Hopperdietzel home and accompanied them Monday, to Green Bay and the Niagara Falls trip. Mrs. John Hopperdietzel, Athens, stayed with the children, the two days Mr. and Mrs. Hopperdietzel were away. 
 

Mrs. H. T. Ketcham left Wednesday night for Tomah to attend the Seventh District conference of the Auxiliary to the American Legion, being held at Kendall Thursday. Mr. Ketcham, who is having a vacation from his work at Wing’s Drug Store, will meet her on Thursday and they will go to Richland Center. 
 

Miss Ann Janda, Menomonie, and Louis Janda and his room mate, John Dougherty, Milwaukee, spent the week end at the R. J. Janda home.
