Zahorka, Edna (8 Jan. 1894 - 23 Jan. 1957) 
 

Mrs. Joe Zahorka, 63, died unexpectedly, of a heart attack, at her home at Prentice, Wisconsin, Wednesday night. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Colby high school auditorium, with ministers William Peterson, Robert Wiseman, and Clarence Arquette officiating. Burial was made at Abbotsford.  
 

Nephews who served as pallbearers were Raymond, Norman and Arvid Kleinstick, Randall Sterzinger, Galen Scheibe, and Delmar Radeztsky. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Brockhaus, Colby, and Mr. and Mrs. Myron Wepfer, Abbotsford, were the singers.  
 

The former Edna Radeztsky was born Jan. 8, 1894, in Abbotsford, where her marriage to Mr. Zahorka took place in May, 1913. They lived in Colby from 1927 until about 1943 and moved to Prentice about five years ago. They spent the interim years in Unity and on a farm near Edgar. 
 

Survivors include the widower; a son, Eldred, Ogema; a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Mae) Lager, Phillips; one brother, Emil, Colby; four sisters, Mrs. Otto Parge and Mrs. Anna Kroehn, both of Milwaukee, Mrs. Richard Kleinstick, Edgar; and Mrs. Frank A. Sterzinger, Colby; and four grand children.  
 

Relatives and friends attending the funeral came from Phillips, Catawba, Prentice, Ogema, Medford, Stetsonville, Dorchester, Abbotsford, Edgar, Wausau, Schofield, Eau Claire, Gilman, Spencer, Marshfield, Greenwood, Milwaukee, Neillsville, Milan, Westboro, Princeton, St. Paul, Minn., and Washington, D.C.
