Longwood, Wisconsin

 

Mrs. G. B. Andrews and daughter left for Knoxville, Iowa, Thursday.

 

The Popple river bridge, that was damaged by the high waters last week, is now repaired.

 

During the last Wednesday, the lightning struck the house of Mrs. Olette Hanson, no damage to speak of.

 

Mrs. C. Benson and her little girl left for Chicago last week.

 

Mrs. Smith visited her children at Withee Monday.

 

Anton Bredeson is still moving and if rain holds up he expects to get through this week.

 

Hans Jorstad, in loading a shot gun in the house last week, met with an accident amounting to the loss of one end of their sewing machine. His wife, who was sitting near by, was struck by pieces of the iron.
