Mrs. Sereno Wren has been seriously ill the past few days, with heart trouble and inflammatory rheumatism, but it is thought today that her condition is slightly improved.

A. E. Counsell and wife were made happy last Tuesday, by the arrival of an eight pound boy. Mother and son are doing nicely.

Mamie West went to Neillsville Monday morning to enter on her duties in Mrs. Grow's dressmaking establishment.

Mrs. Wm Gerhardt has been on the sick list the past week, but is recovering slowly.

Perry Benedict has rented his farm to Mr. Cox of Shortville. Perry will make his home for the present with his brother Julius.
