She chose as her maid of honor her sister, Mary Ann Benzschawel, and her bridesmaids were Blanche Fisher of Eau Claire, sister of the groom and Evelyn Hilgert of Eau Claire, a friend.

Their gowns were identical in white floor length Chantilly lace and nylon tulle over taffeta fashioned with s hired bodice matching lace caps and sweetheart headpieces of nylon tulle.   They carried colonial bouquets of white carnations and pink garnet roses.

The bride’s mother wore a grey print dress, and the groom’s mother chose a navy blue dress.  They wore corsages of red roses.

A dinner was served at the bride’s home to 60 guests.  A reception followed at 2 o’clock.

They are on a honeymoon to Wis. Dells and Sturgeon Bay.  They will make their home in Eau Claire at 1039 Emery St.
