Kuester, Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand (Golden - 1953)

Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Kuester, Grand Ave. Rd, Rte 3, Neillsville, celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary Saturday, Nov. 21, by entertaining members of their immediate family at a 6:30 dinner at the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church dining parlors.  Following the dinner open house was held from 8 to 10 p.m.

The Rev. William Koehler gave a short talk in commemoration of the event and read a few letters and poems which had been sent to Mr. and Mrs. Kuester from relatives who could not be present.

Jacob Stucki, Madison, a grandson, gave a history of the grandchildren.

The table was decorated with a three tiered wedding cake, a gift of the children, and yellow and white chrysanthemums.  A yellow mum plant, trimmed with coins wrapped in gold paper, completed the decorations.
