Turville, Christine Helena (Marriage - 6 February 1954)

Christine Helena Turville of Neillsville, Rt. 3, and Henry Kurz of Spencer, Rt. 2 were married Saturday afternoon at the First Congregational Church at Neillsville, with the Rev. Frank Harcey performing the double ring ceremony.

The bride given in marriage by her father, Chester Turville, wore a dress with a ballerina length skirt of nylon tulle fully gathered at the waist with a bow effect of lace.   The strapless fitted bodice was of Chantilly lace over satin, with a bolero jacket of long sleeves coming to a point at the wrists.  A Peter Pan collar completed the dress.  She carried a bouquet of white Easter lilies and red roses in the shape of a heart.

Ann Turville, sister of he bride, who served as her maid of honor, wore a dress of yellow, similar to that of the bride.  Her bridesmaid, Janet Ehlert wore a dress of blue.

Duane Pachel of Loyal and Dale Turville served the groom as best men.  Wayne Turville and Reuben Ehlert ushered.

Following the ceremony a reception and supper for 135 was held at the American Legion Memorial Hall, which was decorated in white, blue and yellow streamers.

The bride is a graduate of Neillsville High School, class of 1953, and has since worked in Marshfield.  The groom was graduated from Loyal High School class of 1950, and is a farmer.  Following a trip to southern Wisconsin they will be at home to their friends and relatives at Spencer, Rt. 2, after February 12.
