Mackeprang, Marie Matousek (1890 - 21 Apr 1954) 
 

Funeral services for Mrs. Charles Mackeprang were held Wednesday afternoon, April 21, 1954, from the Bergemann Funeral Home, with the Rev. William Koehler officiating.  Burial was in the Neillsville City Cemetery. (she may later have been moved to the Levis Township Cemetery, Clark Co., Wisconsin).
 

Pallbearers were: Ladd Holub, William Klann, John Kirzek, James Matousek, Louis Matousek and Herman Meier. 
 

In charge of flowers were Beverly and Donna Matousek, granddaughters of the deceased.  H. R. Briggs sang two selections, accompanied by Mrs. Jess Scott at the piano. 
 

Out of town relatives attending the rites were: Mr. and Mrs. Louis Matousek and family of West Allis; Mr. and Mrs. Skalnik, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. William Klann, Portage; Mr. and Mrs. John Skalnik, Ventura, Ia.; Mr. and Mrs. John Kirzek and son, Palos Park, Ill.; Mrs. Frank Skalnik and Margie, Chicago; Bud Boecher, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smitke, Thorp, and Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Smitke, Thorp.

 

*At age 61, Marie, (the widow of Frank Matousek who died 21 Jan 1937)  remarried to Charles Mackeprang.  She passed away April 18, 1954 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, Wis. after a long illness and is buried beside Fran Matousek in the Levis Township Cemetery, Clark Co., Wisconsin.
