Gallagher, Patricia Joyce (Marriage - 4 September 1954)

Miss Patricia Joyce Gallagher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Gallagher of Granton, became the bride of William Charles Naedler, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Naedler of Granton, on September 4, 1954, at a 7:30 p.m. candlelight service at the Emanuel Evangelical United Brethren Church of Chili.   The Rev. E. Antrim performed the double ring ceremony before an altar decorated with bouquets of gladioli.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a brocaded satin dress with a finger tip veil and long sleeves that came to a point over the wrist.  She carried a bouquet of carnations and gladioli, centered by an orchid.

Miss Barbara Haslow, in teal blue satin with net, was her maid of honor, and Miss Lucille Greeler, in a shrimp colored satin gown, attended her as bridesmaid.

The groom was attended by Thomas Gallagher as best man and Gary Schwantes as groomsman.  William Nickel and Kenneth Haslow ushered.

Miss Carla Schwantes; carrying a basket of red tea roses, was flower girl.

A wedding reception was held at the church which was decorated with candles.

They left on a wedding trip to the western states and will return about September 20.

The bride has been employed in the office of the Weinbrenner Shoe Co. at Marshfield.  She is a graduate of the Granton High School.  The groom also was graduated from the Granton High School and farms with his father near Granton.

Guests were from Milwaukee, Janesville, Madison, Neillsville, Marshfield, Blair, Colby, Granton, and Chili.
