Barr, Minnie Pearl (12 June 1881 - 1954) 
 

Charles Barr of Neillsville has received word of the death at Silverton, Oregon, of Mrs. Minnie Pearl Barr, 73, who formerly resided in Christie.  Her husband was long the old-time blacksmith at Christie.  
 

Mrs. Barr was born at Christie June 12, 1881, and was married to George Ira Barr in a home wedding at Neillsville April 12, 1899.  The Barrs left Clark County in 1903, settling first in Salem, Oregon.  They have resided in Silverton since 1907. 
 

Both Mrs. Barr and her husband have been active in the Eastern Star and in the Christian Science Church.  
 

Surviving are her husband, a son and a daughter, and six grandchildren. 
 

Mrs. Barr was interred October 30 in the Silverton Cemetery.
